The LDO regulators are ideal for automotive systems, with an input voltage range of 3V to 40V and a low quiescent current of 40μA. They offer a maximum output current of 200mA, with 2% output voltage accuracy over temperature. The new loop concept provides fast regulation and stability, requiring only a small 1μF ceramic capacitor at the output. Additionally, they exhibit a very low typical dropout voltage of only 80mV at currents below 100mA.
