This Infineon ESD (electrostatic discharge) protection device has a bi-directional and symmetric I/V characteristic and excellent clamping performance.

  • ESD / transient protection of high-speed data lines exceeding: IEC61000-4-2 (ESD): 20 kV (air / contact), IEC61000-4-4 (EFT): 40 A (5/50 ns), IEC61000-4-5 (surge): 3 A (8/20 μs)
  • Bi-directional maximum working voltage: VWM = ±1 V
  • Diode type I/V characteristic with Vbr = 1.5 V at 1 mA
  • Line capacitance: CL = 0.11 pF at f = 5 GHz
  • Clamping voltage: VCL = 6.9 V at ITLP = 16 A with Rdyn = 0.28 Ω
  • Low leakage current: IL = 30 nA
  • Small form factor SMD size, low profile (0.43 x 0.23 x 0.15 mm³)
