Infineon’s SECORA™ Wallet brings secured NFC payments to mPTech’s Hammer smartwatch

Munich, Germany – 3 September 2026 – Infineon Technologies AG (FSE: IFX / OTCQX: IFNNY) and mPTech are strengthening their cooperation to bring secured, convenient payment experiences to the next generation of wearables. mPTech, a European original equipment manufacturer (OEM) has integrated Infineon’s SECORA™ secured payment technology into its latest flagship Hammer smartwatch, combining Infineon’s expertise in secured payment solutions with mPTech’s strong position in consumer electronics. The collaboration shows how Infineon’s SECORA One-stop-shop solution including both SECORA Connect X and SECORA Wallet can help wearable OEMs accelerate the integration of secured and CDCVM-enabled payments into consumer wearable devices.

End-to-end solution for wearable payments
SECORA Wallet is compliant with Mastercard® Digital Enablement Services (MDES) and Visa® Token Services (VTS), enabling the integration of CDCVM secured payment wallets into fitness and healthcare applications running on active wearables, where no dedicated payment applet needs to be downloaded or maintained. Consumers can securely perform offline and online NFC payments at POS terminals directly from their lifestyle wearable devices. As part of the Mastercard MDES Express program, the SECORA Wallet further streamlines the process of enabling OEM brand devices with CDCVM-secured NFC payments for issuers who are already connected to the MDES ecosystem. This makes it easy for issuers to bring premium wearable device brands to their customers, while reducing fraud and chargeback rates. SECORA Connect X is an ultra-low-power payment solution featuring the market's smallest active NFC payment chip, which delivers outstanding contactless performance even in metal-enclosed devices. As the first smartwatch to integrate both Infineon payment solutions, mPTech's Hammer smartwatch offers advanced payment functionality alongside a seamless user experience. 

The mPTech’s Hammer smartwatch will be demonstrated at IFA Berlin in September at the Hammer booth (H42-153). The device will be available across Europe through various retail channels starting in November 2026.
