The IC regulates input voltage VI (2.5V < VI < 20V) to adjustable output voltage (1.21V < VQ,nom < VI - Vdr). Supports up to 1.5A loads. Enables on/off control. Protects against failures: short circuit, overcurrent, overtemperature. Ideal for systems with multiple supply voltages (1.21V to input voltage).
