The TLE6389 utilizes PWM/PFM control for low dropout voltage and no minimum load requirements. It drives an external P-channel MOSFET for design flexibility up to 12.5W output power. With high switching frequency, it allows the use of small inductors, reducing system costs. The output voltage is preset at 5V for some versions and adjustable for others, accommodating input voltages of up to 60V.
