IC designed to supply off-board systems in automotive applications. Features protection against reverse polarity and short circuit. Supports supply voltages up to 40V. Output voltage follows reference voltage with high accuracy, e.g., 2.0V minimum. Can drive loads up to 70mA while accurately following a 5V reference from a main voltage regulator.
