IC designed for automotive applications to supply off-board systems, e.g., sensors in engine management. Additional protection against reverse polarity and short circuit. Input voltage up to 40V. Accurate output voltage based on reference voltage (minimum 2.0V). Supports loads up to 250mA. Shutdown mode for low quiescent current. Suitable for low-power battery applications.
