The CCG3PA 39W USB-C/USB-A car charger reference design supports 27W for USB Type-C and 12W for legacy Type-A ports. It features Infineon's EZ-PD™ CCG3PA(CYPD3175-24LQXQ) controller and ActiveSemi ACT5101/ACT2861 buck-boost power controller, regulating VBUS voltage, monitoring fault protection, and controlling VBUS discharge. Firmware is developed using CCGx Power SDK, with customization available using the EZ-PD™ Configuration utility.
