Infineon's Ref Design Guide implements an automotive front light high/low beam combo using the TLD5099EP multitopoly DC-DC controller from the LITIX™ Power family. It supports cost-effective entry-level LED headlamps with single-channel drive for both beams. PWM dimming controls brightness and allows derating in extreme conditions. Robust diagnosis and EMC compliance (CISPR25) are ensured. Thermal performance is detailed.
