In server, telecom, and industrial power supplies, a 6W bias board, powered by a boost PFC converter, supplies power to the fan, gate drivers, and controller. It uses the ICE5QSAG quasi-resonant flyback controller and the 950V CoolMOS™ P7, providing extra margin for surge events. It's designed as a snubberless flyback converter for enhanced efficiency.
