The board is a 5KW, two-channel interleaved PFC converter using the TRENCHSTOP™ 5 WR5 IGBT IKW40N65WR5, designed for high switching frequencies up to 60 kHz. This enables benefits like smaller PFC choke and system size, and reduced BOM cost. A prime example of design with our low-side gate driver 1ED44175 and power silicon diode IDW60C65D1, it showcases the effective use of the WR5 IGBT in interleaved PFC applications.
