The Arduino shield includes 4 high side switches BTS7006-1EPP (12.5A nominal current per output). It demonstrates relay and fuse replacement, controlling and protecting 12V supply outputs, switching loads (e.g. bulbs, heating resistors, motor drives), measuring load current, and detecting no-load conditions. The PROFET™ +2 12V family targets high current automotive applications, including ECU power feeds, auxiliary power outlets, and heaters.
