The EZ-PD™ BCR kit CY4533 replaces barrel/power input connector with a USB-C connector, allowing system power from any USB-C-compliant adapter. The EZ-PD™ BCR CYPD3177 is for USB-C sink or devices accepting power from USB Type-C chargers (5 V up to 3 A) or USB-PD chargers (5 V, 9 V, 12 V, 15 V, 20 V).
