The ICE5BR3995BZ is Infineon's 5th gen CoolSET™ controller with a 950V CoolMOS™ MOSFET. It supports isolated/non-isolated topologies like flyback/buck for power supply. Integrated error amplifier simplifies regulation and reduces BOM. It handles wide input voltage ranges and optimizes snubber circuitry. Packaged in DIP-7, the ICE5BR3995BZ offers protection features, EMI reduction, frequency reduction, and improved light-load performance.

  • 65 kHz maximum switching frequency with integrated 950 V superjunction MOSFET
  • Integrated error amplifier to support direct feedback typical for non-isolated topologies
  • Supports both isolated and non-isolated flyback topology up to an output power of 16 W
  • Supports non-isolated buck topology up to 550 mA output current
  • Auto-restart for all protection features
