About

High efficiency, power density, and better thermal behavior are the key trends when it comes to power management. Infineon is constantly working on introducing highly innovative power MOSFET technologies able to meet the requirements for all applications.

Recently, Infineon introduced the latest OptiMOS™ 6 power MOSFET technology, which, together with OptiMOS™ 3 and OptiMOS™ 5, comprise the industrial power MOSFET portfolio.

In addition, the StrongIRFET™ power MOSFET family complements the portfolio when ease of use and broad availability are the key requirements.

The OptiMOS™ 6 power MOSFET family is available in voltage ranges from 40 V up to 120 V. The family is available in a variety of packages to meet your design requirements, including PQFN 3.3x3.3, sTOLL, SuperSO8, TOLL, and TOLT.

Target applications include:

  • Switch-mode power supply (SMPS)
  • Renewables
  • OR-ing circuits
  • Motor drives
  • LEVs
  • Battery-powered applications
  • Low conduction losses
  • Low switching losses
  • Optimized thermal management
  • Increased current carrying capability
  • Better current sharing when paralleling
