About

SECORA™ Connect E is a Secure Element (SLS21EMK SG-XFWLB-16-1) part of the SECORA™ Connect solution family addressing payment use cases for connected devices. It comes in an ultra-small (2.9 mm2) packaging.  As the smallest EMVCo certified chip for consumer devices on the market, SECORA™ Connect E fits into any IoT (USB dongles, tiny Gaming joysticks, TV remote) or wearable (e. g. AR/VR) design regardless of size, shape or material, while JavaCard and Global Platform foundation provides seamless integration through comprehensive development tools. It also supports PQC-protected in-field OS updates and additional java applet functionality apart from pre-certified payment use cases.

SECORA Connect E is designed to withstand evolving quantum threats by supporting Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) protected in-field updates, allowing long-term security. Based on the latest 28nm Secure Element technology with RRAM, it delivers optimized performance and memory efficiency, as well as long-lasting security.

RED compliance:  With rising cybersecurity vulnerabilities, the EU has taken the initiative to impose a minimum basic level of security for connected wireless devices. RED aims to take care that all devices that use radio waves (phones, Wi-Fi routers, Bluetooth speakers) are appropriately protected, work properly and don‘t interfere with other devices. SECORA™ Connect E helps you meet all RED requirements and speeds up compliance in a smart ring application.
