About

For the 77GHz Radar application, the AURIXTM TC45x completes the AURIXTM TC4x family with larger Radar SRAM, fast Signal Processing Unit (SPU3.0) for radar pre-processing and Parallel Processing Unit (PPU) Vector DSP for accelarating post-processing algorithms. The TC45x 2/2 lockstep TriCore CPUs running at 400MHz provides additional real time processing capabilities while the Cybersecurity Realtime Module (CSRM) and  Crypto Satellites (CSS) provides the necessary security safeguard  for critical functions and robust software isolation.

  1. Deterministic local memory architecture for fast real‑time data access
  2. 1 Gbit/s Ethernet and PCIe Interface for MCU cascading
  3. CSRM: cybersecurity real‑time module with dedicated resources and crypto engines
  4. CSS: distributed crypto and hash offload for secure CAN/Ethernet communication
  5. Backward‑compatible software platform with AURIX TC3x MCUs
  6. Strong tools and partner ecosystem (AUTOSAR MCAL, drivers, safety/security packages)

AURIXTM TC45x Safety & Security

- Safety architecture aligned with ISO 26262 and ASIL‑B capable Radar controllers.

- Cybersecurity built on the CSRM module with distributed Crypto Satellites (CSS) to harden secure boot, comms, and key management.

Infineon offers optimized, open-market customer support for systems using AURIX™ MCUs through a network of technical experts. The participating partners are trained in the use of AURIX™ microcontrollers and provide product- and application-specific support. The Preferred Design Houses (PDH) extend the support force by specifying and customizing their expertise and thus increase the value of customer service.

The first level of support is provided by local field application engineers, and the second level, which addresses more complex topics, is provided by dedicated automotive security experts. Dedicated on-site consulting can also be organized to help customers reduce development time and costs.
