Infineon’s 24 V high-side smart power switch portfolio delivers flexibility, robustness, and cutting-edge technology for automotive and industrial 24 V applications. 

PROFET™ + 24V family consist of single, dual, and quad-channel devices, supporting a wide range of RDS(on) (10–200 mΩ), tailored for commercial and agricultural vehicles as well as industrial applications. It ensures reliable 24 V operation with advanced protection and fast diagnostics, and comes along with ISO-26262 compliance or ISO 26262-ready certification.

The Power PROFET™ + 24/48V delivers ultra-low RDS(on) (down to 0.6 mΩ) for high currents up to 60 A, replacing relays and fuses in 24 V power distribution with excellent efficiency and diagnostics plus as ISO 26262-ready certification.

The Classic PROFET™ 24V family offers single to eight-channel devices with overload protection, thermal shutdown, and high energy capabilities ideal for valves, solenoids, and heating devices in trucks, buses, and even industrial applications. 

Finally, PROFET™ Industrial family supports up to 58 V supply voltage, delivering exceptional energy robustness and high-speed PWM switching for relays, displays, and sensors. 

Infineon’s 24 V high-side switch families combine scalable design and superior functionality for demanding automotive and industrial applications. Key features include single/multi-channel devices (up to eight channels), ultra-low RDS(on) options (0.6–200 mΩ), 24 V load dump protection and advanced protection (thermal, overload, short circuit). Fast, accurate current diagnostics (kILIS) enhance system reliability, while pin to pin compatibility facilitates PCB reuse, reducing costs and time-to-market. PROFET™ 24V support various loads (e.g. valves, bulbs, LEDs, motors) and harsh environments with robust energy handling and thermal efficiency. 

The PROFET™ + 24V and Power PROFET™ + 24/48V in particular take into account the special operating conditions in these commercial and agricultural vehicles through adapted qualification and it is offered together with an ISO 26262-compliant or ready certification to support functional safety applications.

Those materials could be found on the each product page in chapter "Design Support".  In addition, we offer a dedicated tool suite for Smart Power Switches and Gate Driver IC's for automotive power distribution.

Infineon Smart Power Switches & Gate Driver Tool Suite supports system architects and hardware designers from the idea to the realization. This suite allows the user to select the right smart power switch or gate driver IC for a specific load using one of the “Finder & Selection” tools. Together with the different “Simulation & Modeling” tools, various application scenarios can be simulated for the respective product. The results can be document in the report tool and verified with the “Configuration” tools plus the corresponding evaluation boards.
