About

PSOC™ 4 family features advanced CAPSENSE technology offering high SNR, ultra-low power consumption, and robust operation. It supports both self-capacitive and mutual-capacitive sensing, making it suitable for simple buttons and sliders as well as complex, multi-touch interfaces. With durability, noise immunity, and tolerance to thick overlays and liquids, CAPSENSE delivers accurate, reliable performance for modern, energy-efficient user interfaces.

  • Outstanding noise immunity
  • Ten times higher signal-to-noise ratio imprevements in the latest CAPSENSE™ products.
  • Higher temperature stability
  • Lower noise floor – less than 100aFrms
  • Insensitive to low-frequency external noise
  • High immunity to common mode, radiated and conducted noise and electrical fast transients
  • Eliminates the need for noise filters in hardware or software, for easier design implementation
  • The sensor element provides flexible options for the PCB design, supporting large or small sensors and a variety of materials
