Infineon’s AIROC™ Wi-Fi 5 family combines high-performance Wi-Fi + Bluetooth® in a single chip. Operating in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, these radios offer broad interoperability with the global installed base of new and existing access points and client devices. 

Each combo product can be combined with Infineon or third-party MCUs or with Linux-based Microprocessors (MPUs). Supported host interfaces include SDIO, PCIe, USB and UART. Our flexible software architecture enables easy porting between different host platforms. 

Infineon’s advanced Coexistence technology ensures reliable operation of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® to minimize performance degradation and connectivity issues when the two radios operate concurrently.

Infineon's AIROC™ Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth® 5.x compliant single-chip portfolio offers reliable connectivity across its wide selection of high-performance and low-power combo solutions. The 1x1 SISO and 2x2 MIMO configurations can be combined with Infineon, third-party MCUs or with Linux-based MPUs. Supported host interfaces include SDIO, PCIe, USB and UART. 

Infineon also provides AIROC™ Connectivity Processors, self-hosted solutions that combine on-chip MCU, memory, and the networking protocols required for customers to easily create their cloud-connected applications.
