About

Infineon offers a wide range of serial NOR flash memories based on the industry-standard floating gate and proprietary MIRRORBIT™ technologies.

The industry-standard Quad SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) is supported by virtually all modern chipsets, making it an easy choice.

For extra bandwidth, Infineon provides Dual-Quad SPI configurations where two quad SPI dies are stacked to expand the bus width from four to eight lanes.

HYPERFLASH™ further increases bandwidth and feature set using HYPERBUS™ interfaces. HYPERFLASH™ NOR flash memories deliver the performance required for embedded systems in automotive advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), instrument clusters and infotainment systems, factory automation, and networking routers and switches.

Infineon’s flash memory product longevity program extends the availability of our most popular memory products to serve long-lived platforms. Typical longevity is ten-plus years from the date of production release. By selecting NOR flash products covered by the program, you benefit from peace-of-mind and a robust supply chain for critical memory devices.

Infineon’s proprietary MIRRORBIT™ technology is the world’s most advanced NOR flash process technology and is optimal for high density devices. It stores two bits per cell and is the foundation for a broad range of Infineon parallel and serial NOR flash products.

Infineon works with chipset partners worldwide to qualify our memories, validate drivers and software, and develop turnkey reference designs. The result is a suite of tools and resources that simplify the design process and reduce the time to market. To help you select recommended and qualified memory for your chipset, Infineon publishes chipset pairing guides. These spreadsheets map which Infineon memory products have been qualified with which partner chipsets.
