About

TRAVEO™ T2G CYT3BB/CYT4BB MCUs redefine automotive body electronics by embedding potent processing and network connectivity through the Arm® Cortex®-M7. Ideal for zone control, infotainment, lighting, they ensure security via HSM, Arm® Cortex®-M0+ and dual-bank flash for FOTA. Six power modes optimize energy use, while memory/pin scalability enhance flexibility.

TRAVEO™ T2G CYT3BB/CYT4BB series feature a 250 MHz Arm® Cortex®-M7 single/dual, I/D-cache, 4 MB flash, 256 KB work flash, 768 KB SRAM, and Arm® Cortex®-M0+ for crypto. The supply range is 2.7 V to 5.5 V. Interface includes up to 8-channel CAN FD, 11-channel SCB, 16-channel LIN-UART, eMMC, Serial Memory Interface, and 10Base-T1s, 10/100 Ethernet. The inclusion of 3-channel I2S/TDM adds to the audio capabilities of these MCUs.

The AD converter handles up to 72 channels, with 12-bit resolution and 3x successive approximation ADC (SAR ADC) units for heightened precision. The timers offer motor control, 16-bit TCPWM, and 32-bit TCPWM.

High-speed I/O at 3.3 V in BGA caters to modern needs and is supported by a secondary 3.3 V I/O operation voltage. Packages range from 100-pin TQFP, 144-pin TQFP, 176-pin TQFP, to 272-ball BGA.

The TRAVEO™ T2G CYT3BB/CYT4BB family features a dedicated best-in-class low power mode controller, with its own voltage domain to, not only support low power modes, but also to perform certain operations such as analog measurements, CAN and LIN communications, RTC, SRAM retension and basic processing while the rest of microcontroller is in standby.

Safety is the core know-how of Infineon, and all products provide safety mechanism to ensure a safety platform supporting ASIL-B ISO 26262. State-of-the-art security with Secure Boot support by a dedicated Arm® Cortex-M0+ core and security hardware to accelerate cryptographic functions with ISO21434-compliant.

The CYT4BB has dual cores providing up to 1150 DMIPS in ASIL-B.
In terms of security, this product has an HSM compliant eVita full, ensuring the implementation of future proofed security measure. On top of this, it offers extensive connectivity with 8-ch CAN FD, 11-ch LINs, One Quad SPI and new high-speed communicating interfaces such as 10Base-T1S or up to 100 Mbps100 MB Ethernet 1 channel eMMC, which are critical to address new domain control and connected gateway ECUs.
