About

Like all families of the AURIX™ TC3xx  generation, the AURIX™ TC3Ex series aims for reduced complexity, best-in-class power consumption, and significant cost savings. These second-generation microcontrollers with embedded flash 40 nm technology come with increased performance, memory sizes, connectivity, and more scalability to address the new automotive trends and challenges. In terms of performance, TC3Ex offers 4 cores running at 300 MHz (with 2 additional checker cores delivering 2700 DMIPS), up to 1.5 MB embedded RAM, and power consumption below 2 W. AURIX™ TC3Ex MCUs provide state-of-the-art connectivity with 1 Gbit Ethernet, 2x FlexRay, 24x LINs, 5x QSPI, 2x I²C, 5x PSI, 1x HSSL, 3x MSC, 4x STM, and up to 20x CAN including data-rate-enhanced CAN FD. They are additionally characterized by a rich peripheral set with 25x SENT, a powerful Generic Timer Module (GTM), CCU6, and GPT12. The AURIX™ TC3Ex microcontroller family is available in LFBGA-292 package.

Infineon offers optimized, open-market customer support for systems using AURIX™ MCUs through a network of technical experts. Our participating partners are trained in the use of AURIX™ microcontrollers and provide product and application-specific support. Preferred Design Houses (PDH) extend support by specifying and customizing expertise and thus increase the value of customer service.

The first level of support is provided by local field application engineers, and the second level, which addresses more complex topics, is provided by dedicated automotive security experts. Dedicated on-site consulting can also be organized to help customers reduce development time and costs.
