  • State of art connectivity CAN FD
  • Delta-sigma ADCs for fast and accurate measurements
  • Hot package options for extended temperature range
Infineon's AURIX™ TC23xLX diverse lockstep cores with clock delay form the backbone of a comprehensive safety system that is designed to meet the most stringent safety standards. For enhanced security, the microcontroller also includes a programmable HSM (Hardware Security Module). Safety is further enhanced by the presence of redundant and diverse timer modules such as GTM, CCU6, and GPT12 as well as an access permission system. The safety management unit (SMU) provides an additional layer of protection by monitoring the MCU performance and alerting users to any potential issues. The direct memory access (DMA) feature ensures efficient data transfer, while the I/O, clock, and voltage monitors provide essential feedback to optimize the system's performance. All of these features have been developed and documented following ISO 26262 to support safety requirements up to ASIL-D, making AURIX™ highly reliable and effective. Additionally, AUTOSAR v3.2 and v4.x are supported, ensuring compatibility with the latest industry standards.

AURIX™ TC2xx “SafeTlib”

The AURIX™ TC2xx "SafeTlib" is a set of SW tests that supports applications with functional safety requirements, including SBST for the CPU core. It also supports system integration with application-dependent tests and handles internal and external watchdogs (SafeWDG).

Drive Core for AURIX™

Infineon’s AURIX™ Drive Core is a scalable software bundle that accelerates development, simplifies migration, and reduces commercial and supplier management complexities

Infineon offers optimized, open-market customer support for systems using AURIX™ MCUs through a network of technical experts. Our participating partners are trained in the use of AURIX™ microcontrollers and provide product and application-specific support. The Preferred Design Houses extend the support force by specifying and customizing expertise and thus increase the value of customer service.

The first level of support is provided by local field application engineers, and the second level, which addresses more complex topics, is provided by dedicated automotive security experts. Dedicated on-site consulting can also be organized to help customers reduce development time and costs.
