CoolSET™ Switch comes in two switching schemes. Fixed frequency (FF) suits designs that need predictable, easy-to-filter switching. Quasi-resonant (QR) minimizes switching losses and improves EMI for higher efficiency, especially at light load. FF scales up to 950 V avalanche-rugged CoolMOS™ P7. QR pairs an 800 V CoolMOS™ P7 in a single compact package with cascode start-up. Both integrate the controller and HV switch to reduce BOM count and board space.

CoolSET™ Switch family offers the option of integrated 700 V, 800 V, and 950 V avalanche-rugged CoolMOS™ P7 Power MOSFETs - available in both through-hole and SMD. Superjunction technology eliminates the need for a heatsink, shrinks the footprint, and reduces BOM count with less board space, fewer components, and better thermal performance.

CoolSET™ Switch ICs power auxiliary supplies across major home appliances, data center power solutions, building automation, and industrial SMPS. Robust protection, compact integration, and up to 42W power output range make them a natural fit wherever reliable AC-DC conversion is critical.
