Overview

EZ-PD™ PAG1S CYPAS111 supports secondary-side controlled flyback design by pairing with EZ-PD™ PAG1P. The converter supports a quasi-resonant flyback converter for highly efficient USB-C adapters and chargers. EZ-PD™ PAG1S CYPD3184 is a highly integrated USB PD and SR secondary-side controller and supports optocoupler-based primary PWM flyback design in QR/DCM mode for USB-C adapters and chargers.

EZ-PD™ PAG1S - CYPAS111 is a highly integrated USB PD, SR, and PWM secondary-side controller supporting quasi-resonant flyback converters for highly efficient SMPS. The PWM signals are sent to the primary-side counterpart EZ-PD™ PAG1P through PET (CYPET131). For USB PD, the controller offers a highly programmable flash-based solution to meet PD 3.1 specifications with SPR, PPS, and EPR support. EZ-PD™ PAG1S integrates the following: 21.5 V LDO, VBUS NFET gate driver, low-side current sense amplifier, low-side SR NFET gate driver with voltage doubler, and error amplifier. For fault protection, EZ-PD™ PAG1S supports VBUS OCP, SCP, OVP, UVP, OTP, and VBUS-CC short. EZ-PD™ PAG1S - CYPAS111 QR solution offers configurable digital valleys based on line and load conditions, dead times, and switching frequencies to meet different design requirements.
