MOTIX™ MCU | motor control SoCs/SiPs based on Arm® Cortex® M with integrated 3-phase bridge driver and power supply; most devices additionally offer LIN or CAN FD communication. Fully integrated variants also include OptiMOS™ MOSFETs, combining all key components to drive a motor. This enables ultra compact, efficient BLDC motor drives for automotive, industrial, and consumer applications.

Designed for maximum flexibility and high performance, Infineon’s MOTIX™ motor control SiP (system-in-package) solutions IMD700A and IMD701A have an operating supply voltage between 5.5 V to 60 V. This makes it the ideal solution for BLDC motor power tools that require fast and efficient charging solutions. Additionally, cordless power tools with higher battery supply voltages such as cordless drills with 24 V BLDC motors can be used for both space- and cost-optimized designs. Light electric vehicles such as e-bikes, e-scooters, and low-speed electric cars that use Infineon’s BLDC motor controllers with 24 V, 36 V, or 48 V battery capabilities exhibit increased battery life, longer operating range, and reduced charging times.
