Infineon's MOTIX™ motor control SiP (system-in-package) solutions IMD700A  and IMD701A are optimized for industrial use cases.

The automotive qualified (AEC-Q100, Grade 1 and Grade 0) MOTIX™ motor control SoC/SiP solutions for BLDC motors are ideal for Thermal management applications including water and oil pumps as well as cooling fans and HVAC blowers. Explore our reference designs for a 150 W coolant pump, a 100 W /150 W water pump or the engine cooling fan using different types of MOTIX™ motor control SoC/SiP solutions for brushless DC motor control.

Passenger comfort features, such as power seats, create further design challenges like noise reduction, limited space availability, and functional safety requirements that can be solved with MOTIX™ TLE988xx and TLE99xx motor control SoC/SiP solutions for BLDC motor control. Take a look at our comfort reference design using the new MOTIX™ TLE9954QSW40-33 system-in-package (SiP) integrating now as well the power stage (OptiMOS™ MOSFETs) combining all components required to drive a motor in one package.

Functional safety

MOTIX™ motor control SoCs/SiPs offer support for applications up to ASIL B, with ISO 26262-compliant products but also QM devices are used in a variety of motor control applications that require functional safety. More about functional safety

Designed for maximum flexibility and high performance, Infineon’s MOTIX™ motor control SiP (system-in-package) solutions IMD700A and IMD701A have an operating supply voltage between 5.5 V to 60 V. This makes it the ideal solution for BLDC motor power tools that require fast and efficient charging solutions. Additionally, cordless power tools with higher battery supply voltages such as cordless drills with 24 V BLDC motors can be used for both space- and cost-optimized designs. Light electric vehicles such as e-bikes, e-scooters, and low-speed electric cars that use Infineon’s BLDC motor controllers with 24 V, 36 V, or 48 V battery capabilities exhibit increased battery life, longer operating range, and reduced charging times.
