PSOC™ Control C3 Performance Line is based on Arm® Cortex®-M33 multi-core architecture to meet the needs of industries that require precise control and demanding power conversion. The family completes Infineon system offering for best performance in power conversion applications in AI server PSUs, solar, SMPS, EV charging and robotics. With advanced security, the Performance Line is PSA L3 ready and prepared for Post-Quantum Cryptography.

PSOC™ Control is a high-performance, 32-bit microcontroller designed to offer flexibility and scalability, meeting the needs of applications that require best-in-class control and power management.

PSOC™ Control C3P7/8 for power control

At the heart lies the programmable power control accelerator (PPCA), purpose-built for power conversion in AI datacenters where efficiency is critical. The 12 high-resolution PWMs (HRPWMs), with sub-100 ps resolution, enable high-frequency switching converters that minimize losses and maximize power density for server power supplies and DC-DC converters. The

Custom Logic Block Unit (CLB), the Events Processing Unit (EPU) and 3p3z filters add additional support for high performing power control loop execution.

PSOC™ Control for power conversion

PSOC™ Control C3 Performance Line delivers one of the most advanced feature sets on the market, tailored for high-end power conversion applications. With powerful processing capabilities and high-performance analog and digital features, it enables high-power, high-density, and high-frequency switching, the PSOC™ Control C3 Performance line is an ideal fit for Switched-Mode Power Supplies (SMPS).

When combined with CoolGaN™ and CoolSiC™, it completes Infineon’s system-level offering—delivering exceptional performance and efficiency for demanding applications such as data centers, telecommunications, solar energy systems, and EV charging.

Post Quantum Cryptography compliance

PSOC™ Control C3 Performance Line is the first Infineon family of MCUs with accelerated Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC) options to support CNSA 2.0 requirements now required for Data Center, Embedded Compute and other applications. This family offers HW accelerated SHA-2 384/512 and LMS for Secure Boot and Firmware Update verification, supporting CSNA 2.0.
