Overview

CoolSET™ SiP integrates a HV switch - CoolMOS™ P7 or CoolSiC™ - with a ZVS primary controller and secondary SR controller with CT link for reinforced isolated communication in a single SMD package for up to 150 W power delivery. The ZVS flyback solution cuts switching losses, improves EMI performance, and reduces BOM, while achieving efficiency above 94%.

CoolSET™ SiP integrates an 800 V/950 V CoolMOS™ P7 or 800 V CoolSiC™ G7 switch in a compact SMD package, with four series covering every key use case, for example server telecom PSUs, major home appliances, HVAC, and industrial SMPS. 

  • LM - least stanby power. Provides robust, straightforward solution without extra control features 
  • EM - adds primary-side supply control through the ENP/ENS enable pins.
  • XM - offers input X-cap discharge after AC power-off and an enable pin ENS/ENP. 
  • ZCM - is capable of voltage zero-crossing detection with X-cap discharge after AC power-off.
