About

Elevate your automotive touchscreen experience with Infineon's PSOC™ Automotive Multitouch Gen8, a product born from over 10 years of expertise in touch controller technology. Infineon’s register configurable methodology provides tried and tested algorithms developed over >200 man-years of automotive firmware development. Our Automotive Multitouch solutions undergo rigorous testing, ensuring compliance with EMI/EMC standards, ESD resilience, and adaptability to environmental changes. Validation reports streamline development cycles, accelerating your go-to-market strategy.

A typical touchscreen system consists of a capacitive touchscreen sensor, an FPC bonded to the sensor, and the touchscreen controller mounted on the FPC or PCB. The touchscreen controller then connects to a host processor, where users can interact with the displayed touchscreen interface through finger movements and gestures. Designed for versatility, the PSOC™ Automotive Multitouch Gen8 detects multiple finger positions, enhancing user interaction through precise gestures. Infineon's commitment to innovation guarantees the right solution for your design needs, seamlessly integrating with existing systems and meeting complex requirements with confidence.
