About

PSOC™ Control C1 is part of the PSOC™ Control microcontroller family and offers a cost-effective solution based on the Arm® Cortex®-M0. Part of our PSOC™ Control  Entry Line, PSOC™ Control C1 runs at 48 MHz and features key peripherals like MATH coprocessor, 2x1 Msps 12-bit ADCs, advanced motor control timers or the BCCU are running at 96 MHz.

PSOC™ Control C1 features up to 200 KB of flash memory and 16 KB of RAM which are protected via error correction (ECC) and parity. The integrated crystal oscillators for both main and RTC clock improves accuracy beyond the 1% of the internal oscillator.

Devices of the PSOC™ Control C1 family provide:

  • up to 2x motor control timers (CCU8)
  • 2x PWM timers,
  • 4x analog comparators
  • 2x hall/encoder interfaces

In addition to the five universal serial channels (UART, SPI, IIC, IIS, LIN) there is an option with two CAN nodes.

PSOC™ Control C1 can be used over a wide range of supply voltages and temperatures.

Motor control

PSOC™ Control C1 can be used in motor control applications with a need for cost-effective microcontrollers:

  • Implementation of two 3-phase inverters with a two PWM timer unit CCU8, with shadow register transfer, external fault input, binary and floating pre-scaler, 16-bit to 64-bit width
  • 2x interfaces to directly connect hall sensors and incremental encoder (POSIF)
  • 12-bit ADC (1 Msps), 2x parallel S&H, up to 14 analog inputs
  • 4x flexible serial channels configurable to UART, SPI, I2C, I2S
  • 2x CAN nodes

System control

With a complete feature set from ADC to communication, PSOC™ Control C1 can be used for system control in a multitude of applications.

  • Extensive portfolio of memory, package, GPIO and functionality options
  • 4x flexible serial channels configurable to UART, SPI, I2C, I2S
  • 2x CAN nodes
