Transmission speed sensors

XENSIV™ transmission sensors for highly accurate speed and direction sensing in pole wheel and steel wheel applications

Overview

Infineon's XENSIV™ transmission speed sensors use ferromagnetic gear teeth or encoder targets to measure linear or rotational speed via contactless magnetic sensing, delivering a clear output signal. Tailored for automotive safety and powertrain, they integrate capacitors for superior EMC robustness and strong ESD protection. All are AEC-Q100 and partially ISO 26262 qualified, while also excelling in harsh industrial environments with low jitter.
