Engine speed sensors

XENSIV™ engine sensors for highly accurate speed, direction and position sensing in pole wheel and steel wheel applications

Overview

Infineon's XENSIV™ engine speed sensors use ferromagnetic gear teeth or encoder targets to detect linear or rotational speed via contactless magnetic sensing, delivering a clear and reliable output signal. Tailored for automotive safety and powertrain applications, they feature integrated capacitors for superior EMC robustness and excellent ESD protection. All are automotive AEC-Q100 qualified and also suited for related industrial applications.
