The auxiliary inverter controls the electric motors of electric power steering (EPS), HVAC control, water pumps, brake vacuum pumps, oil pumps, compressors, and other applications which are key components in cars. Regardless of whether the motor is synchronous, asynchronous, or brushless DC, the inverter always functions in a similar way and is controlled by an integrated PCB. It should be designed to minimize switching losses and maximize thermal efficiency, ensuring high performance and reliability in automotive applications.
