Designed for automotive environments, this IC supplies off-board loads, protecting itself from overload, over temperature, reverse polarity, and output short circuit. It regulates supply voltages up to 45V with high accuracy, driving loads up to 50mA. To minimize quiescent current, switch the TLE4250-2 to stand-by mode using the adjust/enable input.
