What is special about working at Infineon?

What are your main tasks?

As Head of Engineering, I’m responsible for implementing engineering strategies and processes to fulfil customers’ expectations for product development, and for meeting business objectives and operational needs in terms of cost, quality, and delivery reliability. I establish and drive key performance indicators for engineering to ensure that defined strategies and processes are implemented to reach business goals and meet operational needs.

One of the most exciting tasks is translating business requirements and objectives into technical solutions, thus enabling both our company’s success and effective competition in the market. For that I provide vision, inspiration, motivation, and coaching to my team as we all strive for best-in-class products and technologies.

What are the results of your work?

Results of my work are for example IGBT power modules.

Celebrating projects successfully completed with my great team.

What are your biggest challenges?

Speaking different languages – the languages of management, finance and engineering.

What inspires you?

Challenges … they can be very hard, but for me personally, being challenged and stepping out of my comfort zone to learn something new in my life is very inspiring.
