Overview

The mTOLG package family offers the Best-in-Class combination of wide SOA and leading edge RDS(on) performance with Infineon's leading OptiMOS™ 5 Linear FET 2 technology. This is a JEDEC listed package, compatible with other 8x8 mm2 gullwing package MOSFETs, i.e. LFPAK88 type.

Advantages of OptiMOS™ 5 Linear FET 2 

With Infineon’s OptiMOS™ Linear FET and OptiMOS™ 5 Linear FET 2 there is no trade-off between on-state resistance (RDS(on)) and linear mode capability operation in the saturation region of an enhanced mode MOSFET. This revolutionary approach offers the state-of-the-art RDS(on) of a trench MOSFET together with the wide safe operating area (SOA) of a classic planar MOSFET. The family offers low conduction losses and limits high in-rush current preventing damage at the load for faster start-up and shorter down time.
