XDP712-001 is a wide input voltage range digital hot-swap controller featuring a digital SOA control and pulsed SOA current control mode to meet the high availability & reliability requirements of AI servers. It drives single or multiple parallel MOSFETs, enables continuous system health monitoring & high-speed communication via PMBus®, which allows system designers to disable the downstream sub-systems fully or partially.

Features

  • Wide VIN: 7 V to 80 V (100 V for 500 ms)
  • Integrated gate driver: up to 250 μA
  • 1.5 A gate pull-down on short-circuit
  • Programmable & pre-set FET SOA profiles
  • 12-bit ADC: V ≤ 0.4%, I ≤ 0.75% accuracy
  • NVM programmable fault & warning levels
  • Pulsed SOA current control technology
  • PMBus® v1.3 interface: up to 1 MHz
  • FET health monitoring
  • Analog current & power reporting
  • TSSOP-28 (9.7 mm x 6.4 mm) package
  • Peak and valley detection

Benefits

  • Increased system reliability
  • Optimized system performance
  • Higher flexibility in design
  • Allows for system scalability
  • Robust design due to protection features
  • Reduced BOM
  • Common industry footprint compatible
  • Compliance with industry standards
  • Turn-off in <1 μs on short-circuit
  • Support for non-optimized SOA FETs
