CY14B101Q2A-SXI is a 1-Mbit (128K × 8) SPI nvSRAM combining SRAM with QuantumTrap nonvolatile storage to retain data through power loss. It operates from 2.7 V to 3.6 V over -40°C to 85°C, supports AutoStore on power-down, and allows software STORE/RECALL over SPI. The device offers 40 MHz SPI with mode 0/3, 150 µA standby, hardware WP write protection, and an 8-byte serial number.

Features

  • 1-Mbit nvSRAM organized 128K x 8
  • QuantumTrap nonvolatile elements
  • AutoStore on power-down (some)
  • Software STORE/RECALL via SPI
  • Hardware STORE via HSB pin
  • Power-up RECALL restores SRAM
  • SPI clock up to 104 MHz
  • Supports SPI mode 0 and mode 3
  • 8-byte serial number access
  • Manufacturer ID and Product ID
  • Write protect via WP pin
  • Block protect: 1/4, 1/2, full

Benefits

  • SRAM-speed reads and writes
  • Keeps data after power loss
  • AutoStore reduces loss on outages
  • SPI STORE/RECALL cuts firmware work
  • HSB enables event-triggered save
  • Power-up RECALL enables fast reboot
  • 104 MHz SPI speeds data transfers
  • Mode 0/3 works with many MCUs
  • Serial number supports traceability
  • Device IDs enable auto-detect setup
  • WP pin helps prevent bad writes
  • Block protect secures critical data
