The small 18W switching mode power supply evaluation board utilizes ICE2QR1765G Quasi-resonant CoolSET™ in a quasi-resonant flyback converter topology, featuring CoolMOS™ for simplified PCB design and improved conversion efficiency. The IC offers adjustable protection functions and digital frequency reduction technology for efficient operation at very low load.

  • VCC under voltage protection: IC stop operation, recover with softstart
  • VCC over voltage protection: IC stop operation, recover with softstart
  • Openloop/Overload protection: Auto Restart
  • Output overvoltage protection: Latch-off with adjustable threshold
  • Short-winding protection: Latch-off
  • Over temperature protection: Autorestart
