What are your main tasks?

Leading and driving IP verification and methodology activities to success. Ensuring that the team has ambitious and motivating targets to achieve in line with the vision and mission statements of the organization. Empowering the team through coaching and mentoring. Creating a progressive and enjoyable work culture within the team.

What are the results of your work?

Taped out several automotive ASIC designs to first-time-right on silicon. Development of software scripting tools to automate generation of required verification infrastructure to accelerate the verification process. Improvements to the existing verification flows to improve overall efficiency.

What are your job highlights?

As an ASIC Verification Engineer, I am responsible for fixing defects in the design and having first-time-right on silicon. I take great pride in seeing that happen. As a Team Lead, I have ramped up a new design verification team, onboarded them into a variety of projects; all candidates received excellent feedback for their contributions.

What are your biggest challenges?

Time-to-market and quality are our key to competitiveness. Given that design verification is the gating process for silicon, the biggest challenge is to keep the turnaround time for verification as short as possible despite rapid growth in design complexity.

What inspires you?

My longing to make a significant positive difference to the lives of people around me inspires me every day.
