What is special about working at Infineon?

I really appreciate the collaborative, mutually supportive team spirit at Infineon and consider lots of my colleagues to be real friends.

What are your main tasks?

Ensuring that the power management system of the AURIX™ microcontroller is working as expected by identifying, analyzing, and eliminating design bugs in pre-silicon verification.

What are the results of your work?

I work as a verification lead for the power management system in the new AURIX™ microcontroller product family. This IP is the heart of the AURIX™ and it interacts with the complete chip. Therefore my job calls for a solid system understanding. We also have to adapt quickly to late requirement changes.

What are your job highlights?

Contribution to the development of cutting-edge automotive microcontrollers. Moment when the chip comes out of the fab and works.

What are your biggest challenges?

Dealing with the increasing complexity of designs and adherence to the project schedule.

If you could go back five years, what advice would you give your younger self?

I would advise my younger self to move earlier to the beautiful area around Villach in Carinthia, southern Austria.
