Infineon offers a unique opportunity to work on high-tech products.

What are your main tasks?

Product definition, customer support, creation and definition of new reference designs for microcontrollers, writing of application notes, and creation/coordination/definition of a software ecosystem for microcontrollers.

What are the results of your work?

Releasing a reference design for an evaluation board or application note, solving a customer’s problem.

What are your job highlights?

For me, it is always a highlight if I can help a customer to solve their problem or if I have learned something new.

What are your biggest challenges?

My work requires a lot of internal communication across divisions such as Research & Development (R&D), Field Application Engineering (FAEs), and Sales. Such coordination activities are probably my biggest challenge.

If you could go back five years, what advice would you give your younger self?

Since the world (and also work) is becoming more globalized and interconnected, it is very valuable to know several foreign languages. So my advice to my younger self would be to invest more time in learning foreign languages.
