People do their best work when they enjoy their jobs. At Infineon we established four distinct career paths to cater individual competency, role and growth opportunities. Explore our careers: Individual Contributor, Technical Ladder, Project Management and Management Career. The career paths show you development perspectives and flexible career opportunities. They describe typical requirements and expectations and point out suitable development opportunities so that you have the chance to actively shape your career into all directions, together with your manager and aligned with the company requirements.

Individual Contributor Career

This career path is aimed at employees who contribute to Infineon's success, particularly through their specific expertise. Examples can be found in almost all areas of the company. What they all have in common is that they act as specialists, contribute to specialist topics from implementation to taking full responsibility, and thus each person on this career path contributes to Infineon's business excellence.

As a product designer, I am responsible for ensuring the successful ramp-up to high volume production and securing quality. A year after joining Infineon, I was able to start my vocational career within the Technical Ladder. After taking time out to start a family I was promoted to Senior Staff Engineer – part time!

Project Management Career

Infineon was always very confident in what I could achieve: The next steps were big, but never too big. That’s how I managed to grow from training as an industrial manager to becoming a Director in the Finance department. Some of my stops along the way: a clerk position in Regensburg – going to Asia with the Junior Talent Program – Munich headquarters – first leadership position as a Controlling Manager in Malaysia. I currently lead a team of 17 people across five international locations. The training courses and, above all, the personal support of my superiors helped me grow in my career.
