Forget precise alignment and short cables. Our associated partner, AWL-Electricity, leverages Infineon’s CoolGaN solutions to deliver wireless power & charging that works through objects (incl. metal), over distances, and even while moving.

For years, "wireless charging" has often meant placing a device on a very specific spot on a charging pad. While convenient, it hasn't truly severed the cord. Today, AWL-Electricity (AWL-E) is changing that definition. By combining their proprietary IP on system designs with Infineon’s power portfolio, they have developed a next-generation wireless power solution that overcomes past limitations and sets a new benchmark in functionality and significantly extends use cases across applications. 

Achieving wireless power transfer with 92% DC-to-DC efficiency and 50% misalignment tolerance in optimal environments requires exceptional switching performance. AWL-E maintains reliable power delivery even in harsh environments by building its platform on a robust Infineon backbone.

The system integrates CoolGaN™ High Voltage switches (IGOT65R035D2, IGLT65R035D2, IGOT65R055D2) to handle the rapid switching frequencies needed for long-distance transmission. These are paired with OptiMOS™ 5 silicon MOSFETs (BSC07N10NS5ATMA1) to manage the buck-boost conversion, creating a highly efficient power stage that generates minimal heat—allowing the hardware to be embedded safely inside walls, furniture, or sealed industrial robots.
