The XENSIV™ TLI5572 current sensor in a compact SOT23 package is a contactless magnetic field sensor designed for high-power applications like drones and power tools, measuring currents up to several hundred amps. Offering superior cost-performance compared to shunt-based solutions, it delivers 3% accuracy over temperature after end-of-line calibration.

Features

  • Field range @3.3 V [mT] ±4
  • Field range @5 V [mT] ±6
  • Fully isolated measurement of current
  • 3.3 V and 5 V supply voltage
  • Ultra-low noise analog output
  • Small form factor (SOT23 pkg)
  • No parasitic resistance or inductance
  • Fast response time (140 ns)
  • High bandwidth (>1MHz)
  • High accuracy (3% over temperature)

Benefits

  • Better system cost compared to Shunt + OpAmp
  • Enables compact design
  • Low system heat loss
  • Suited for GaN & SiC applications
  • Isolated current measurement
  • System level space & cost saving
  • Highly robust system design
  • Great in extreme operating conditions
