The FM24V02A-GTR is a 256-Kbit (32K × 8) serial ferroelectric RAM (F-RAM) with I2C interface, delivering nonvolatile memory with 100 trillion (1e14) read/write cycles and 151-year data retention at 65°C. Operating from 2.0 V to 3.6 V and supporting up to 3.4 MHz, it features low active (175 μA at 100 kHz), standby (150 μA), and sleep (8 μA) currents.

Features

  • 256-Kbit nonvolatile F-RAM
  • 100 trillion read/write cycles endurance
  • 151-year data retention at 65°C
  • NoDelay™ instant write technology
  • I2C interface up to 3.4 MHz
  • Low power: 175 μA active, 8 μA sleep
  • Wide VDD: 2.0 V to 3.6 V
  • Industrial temp: –40°C to +85°C
  • Read-only Device ID
  • Write protection pin
  • Input Schmitt triggers for noise immunity
  • Direct hardware replacement for EEPROM

Benefits

  • Reliable data storage for decades
  • Frequent, rapid writes without wear
  • Eliminates write delays for faster systems
  • Compatible with standard I2C designs
  • Reduces system power consumption
  • Operates in harsh environments
  • Easy device identification and traceability
  • Prevents accidental data overwrite
  • Robust against noise and interference
  • Simplifies migration from EEPROM
