The FM24CL04B-GTR is a 4-Kbit (512 × 8) serial ferroelectric RAM (F-RAM) with an I2C interface, delivering high-endurance nonvolatile memory for frequent data logging and rapid writes. It supports 100 trillion read/write cycles, 151-year data retention at 65°C, and operates from 2.7 V to 3.65 V over –40°C to +85°C.

Features

  • 4-Kbit nonvolatile F-RAM memory
  • 100 trillion read/write cycles endurance
  • 151-year data retention at 65°C
  • NoDelay™ instant write technology
  • I2C interface up to 1 MHz
  • Low power: 100 μA active, 3 μA standby
  • VDD operation: 2.7 V to 3.65 V
  • Industrial temp range: –40°C to +85°C
  • Input/output noise immunity (Schmitt trigger)
  • Write protect pin for data security
  • Direct hardware replacement for I2C EEPROM
  • Supports legacy 100/400 kHz timings

Benefits

  • Reliable data even after power loss
  • Enables frequent, rapid data logging
  • Eliminates write delays for fast operation
  • Reduces system power consumption
  • Simple drop-in for I2C EEPROM designs
  • Long lifetime for mission-critical systems
  • Operates in harsh industrial environments
  • Protects data from accidental writes
  • Compatible with legacy and new systems
  • Noise immunity improves signal reliability
  • No polling needed after write
  • Fewer system-level reliability concerns
