The CY15B004J-SXA is a 4-Kbit automotive-grade serial F-RAM, offering high-endurance nonvolatile memory with up to 100 trillion read/write cycles and 151-year data retention at 65°C. Operating from 2.7 V to 3.65 V across –40°C to +85°C, it features a fast I2C interface up to 1 MHz and an 8-pin SOIC package. Ideal for frequent data logging and industrial control, it is AEC-Q100 qualified and RoHS compliant, serving as a robust hardware replacement for serial EEPROM.

Features

  • 4-Kbit F-RAM organized as 512 × 8
  • 100 trillion read/write cycles endurance
  • 151-year data retention at 65°C
  • NoDelay™ instant write technology
  • I2C interface up to 1 MHz
  • Low active current: 100 μA at 100 kHz
  • 3 μA typical standby current
  • VDD operation: 2.7 V to 3.65 V
  • –40°C to +85°C operating temperature
  • Direct hardware replacement for I2C EEPROM
  • Write protect pin for data security
  • Schmitt trigger inputs for noise immunity

Benefits

  • Enables frequent data logging without wear
  • Prevents data loss over decades
  • Eliminates write delays for real-time use
  • Drop-in upgrade for I2C EEPROM designs
  • Reduces system power consumption
  • Extends battery life in low-power systems
  • Reliable operation in harsh environments
  • Protects data from accidental writes
  • Maintains data integrity under noise
