Electric vehicles will lead the way to greener mobility, but we won’t reach our destination overnight. To get more electric vehicles (EVs) on the road, we need solutions that are affordable and efficient, as well as faster charging times and longer ranges between charges. Achieving this will take a strong partnership – a partnership based on trust, transparency and expertise. Infineon and Valeo are driven by the same vision and challenge each other to set new industry standards.

From unprecedented environmental impact to global market adoption, it’s impossible to overstate the potential in electromobility. At Infineon, we provide the building blocks that transform potential into reality.

Infineon drives e-mobility forward with an extensive portfolio of cutting-edge semiconductor technologies.
At the core of every EV, for example, are traction inverters – critical components for converting energy into forward motion. Our high-efficiency semiconductor solutions maximize efficiency, ensuring optimal energy conversion to power the motor with minimal loss. This extends range and reduces costs.

In on-board chargers, our chips optimize energy with precise power delivery, easing grid stress and promoting shorter charging times. Simultaneously, our chips for battery management systems regulate charge cycles and monitor battery status – thus extending battery life and enhancing sustainability.

The HybridPACK™ Drive power modules play a crucial role in this revolution by significantly enhancing EVs. Thanks to advanced cooling and semiconductor technologies, these modules improve vehicle performance and lower emissions. Designed for compact and scalable integration, HybridPACK™ Drive helps automakers produce EVs that can either have a greater range, be more affordable, or even both. These improvements make EVs more attractive to consumers, encouraging more drivers to opt for an electric vehicle. Ultimately, this increased adoption is essential for achieving our ambitious goal of tripling the market for EVs and moving towards an emissions-free future.
